Supreme Promotions headed by Isiah Laing is planning a major show for Sting 2013 where the show will celebrate its 30th anniversary.

Legendary dancehall star Super Cat and Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz are already confirmed on Sting 2013 roster.

Dubbed ‘The Greatest One Night Reggae/Dancehall Show On Earth,’ Sting 30 will be held on December 26 at Jamworld Complex in Portmore.




“After this staging, Sting will never be the same again. My partners and I are moving the show in a new direction,” Joe Bogdanovich, co-producer of Sting, said. “Sting 30 will be a wonderful celebration that will mark the 30th anniversary of one of Jamaica’s best events. This is going to be huge, the production will be top class. This event will be televised worldwide and it will feature the very best possible line-up of artistes as we intend to make it one great big party to remember. It will be a very significant event.”


Sting has in the past saw performances from international rap stars including the late Notorious B.I.G., Foxy Brown, Kriss Kross, DMX, and Busta Rhymes.

Almost every major dancehall stars in Jamaica have also graced the Sting stage including Bounty Killer, Beenie Man, Sizzla Kalonji, Mavado, Vybz Kartel, Buju Banton, Shabba Ranks, Ninja Man and more.

Sting is also notorious for hosting some of the biggest clashes in dancehall including Shabba Ranks vs Ninja Man in 1990, Bounty Killer vs Beenie Man in 1993, and Mavado vs Vybz Kartel in 2008.
